Store Manager – Christchurch

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, people‑focused Store Manager to lead our Christchurch store. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer experiences while driving sales and profitability for Bailey Nelson.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of sales and support staff to achieve performance targets.
• Manage inventory, visual merchandising and stock replenishment to ensure product availability.
• Monitor sales metrics, analyse reports and implement actions to meet or exceed revenue goals.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve escalated issues.
• Control store expenses, budgeting and cash handling in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a retail store, preferably in a fast‑growing environment.
• Strong people‑leadership skills with a focus on coaching and team development.
• Ability to analyse sales data and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
