About the role
Mercor is seeking motivated STEM undergraduates to join its AI research partner network. In this fully remote contract position, you will help improve the quality of AI‑generated content by evaluating its accuracy, depth, and alignment with domain standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assess AI‑generated outputs for correctness, rigor, and relevance to scientific principles.
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to research teams to enhance training data and model performance.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to ensure dataset consistency and comprehensive coverage.
- Work independently and asynchronously, meeting deadlines while maintaining high evaluation standards.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled in a STEM undergraduate program or holding a recent STEM bachelor’s degree.
- U.S. person residing in a Five Eyes country.
- No background in explosives, pyrotechnics, demolition, or military EOD.
- Comfortable with open‑ended, independent research tasks.
- Strong information‑literacy skills to evaluate source credibility.
