About the role
The Solution Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth for Vertiv by promoting and selling the full portfolio of products and solutions across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. The role focuses on identifying customer needs, delivering tailored solutions, and building long‑term, value‑driven relationships while upholding the company’s professional image.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, develop and win new business opportunities across all Vertiv products and solutions.
- Take full ownership of revenue growth to meet Vertiv’s annual targets.
- Partner with technical teams to position the complete portfolio and manage the sales cycle from qualification to closure.
- Build strong, long‑term relationships with end‑users, consultants, contractors and partners.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasting and regular CRM updates.
- Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and use insights to refine go‑to‑market strategies.
- Collaborate with solution architects and pre‑sales engineers to design customer‑centric offerings.
- Provide monthly progress updates and adapt strategies to market conditions.
- Promote safety and continuous improvement through Vertiv’s Operating System.

- Proven ability to drive revenue growth and exceed sales targets.
- Professionalism and integrity in representing the company.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with end‑users, consultants, contractors and partners.
Required skills
- Experience using a CRM system to maintain pipeline and forecasting.
