Solution Architect - Data

About the role

We are looking for a Solution Architect specialising in data to join our high‑performing, client‑facing analytics team. You will lead the design of modern, cloud‑based data platforms, covering the full lifecycle from ingestion and transformation to modelling, governance and consumption.

Key responsibilities

• Define end‑to‑end architecture for data platforms on Azure and/or AWS.
• Design and implement secure‑by‑design solutions, including identity, access controls and governance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, delivery leads and engineering teams to align technical direction with business goals.
• Conduct workshops and advisory sessions to influence and clarify solution approaches.
• Stay current with emerging technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake and Databricks.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect on modern data platforms.
• Strong consulting or advisory background, with ability to run workshops and influence decisions.
• Hands‑on expertise with Azure or AWS services and security patterns.
• Ability to design data platform security, access controls and governance frameworks.
