Solution Architect (Cloud, DevOps & Security)

About the role

This permanent, full‑time position is aimed at senior infrastructure or cloud engineers who want to move into a dedicated solution‑design track within the Azure ecosystem. You will work hands‑on, guiding client environments through modernisation, automation‑first delivery and code‑based governance across cloud and hybrid platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end platform design from requirements gathering through to delivery.
• Define and implement Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) patterns using Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Embed security‑by‑design principles, including modern identity, access and workload protection.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and external stakeholders, translating architectural decisions into clear technical outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, automation pipelines and governance frameworks.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of dedicated solution architecture experience or a technical lead background.
• Strong foundation in infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps or security consulting.
• Professional certifications in Azure, Kubernetes or security architecture are a plus.
• Experience in regulated or public‑sector environments is beneficial.

Required skills

• Azure Cloud Platform – compute, networking, storage.
• Microsoft security stack – Entra ID, Defender for Endpoint, Sentinel.
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code – Terraform or Azure Bicep.
• Container orchestration – Kubernetes / Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Automation and CI/CD pipeline tooling.
