Software Engineer – Remote (NZ)

About the role

EverWell, a vertical of EverCommerce, is looking for a Software Engineer to join its agile team. You will help deliver SaaS product updates, support incident response, and contribute to technical strategy while working fully remotely from New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship software updates and technical changes for SaaS solutions.
• Collaborate with product owners to prioritize work and deliver features.
• Assist technical leadership with planning, scoping, and design of strategic initiatives.
• Identify and address maintenance needs and technical debt.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and incident response activities.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably building SaaS applications.
• Comfortable working in short iterations, learning from experiments, and applying DevOps principles.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a collaborative programming approach.
