Software Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a contract Software Engineer to join a leading technology and artificial intelligence company. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable back‑end and full‑stack applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable back‑end and full‑stack solutions using Python, Rust, Golang, Java, or Node.js.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software that meets evolving business needs.
• Write clean, efficient, well‑documented code following best engineering practices.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise existing codebases for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and help define development standards.

Required profile

• Proficiency in one or more of the listed programming languages.
• Strong grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, testing, and deployment.
• Experience working in agile development environments and using version control systems.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
