Software Engineer – .NET & Cloud (Wellington)

About the role

DataCraft Analytics is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Wellington team. You will help build, maintain and evolve a suite of data‑driven platforms used by primary health organisations and general practices across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new features for data collection, ingestion, reporting and clinical calculators.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the software stack.
• Write and maintain automated tests and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the wider technical team to keep platforms up‑to‑date and relevant.
• Contribute ideas for future enhancements and product direction.

Required profile

• Strong problem‑solving ability and intellectual curiosity.
• Confidence to work independently and ask for help when needed.
• Enjoys learning new technologies and building quality software.

Required skills

• .NET (C#) development.
• Relational SQL databases.
• Version control with Git.
• Cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Front‑end technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
