About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to join our team on a 3‑month contract in Auckland. The role blends hands‑on platform engineering with technical leadership, supporting cloud‑native platforms and driving reliability across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud platforms.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts and deployment frameworks.
- Implement observability, monitoring, incident‑response and reliability initiatives.
- Apply security, compliance and governance controls to the platform.
- Collaborate with engineering, security and business stakeholders to provide technical guidance and best‑practice recommendations.
Required profile
- Strong background in SRE, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Hands‑on experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
- Proven ability to work with Kafka and related streaming technologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving skills.
