Snowflake Data Engineer – $190k – Auckland (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Snowflake Data Engineer to join a global consultancy serving the financial services sector. Based in Auckland, this hybrid position offers 2‑3 days per week on‑site and a competitive salary of $190k.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines on Snowflake.
• Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms and orchestrate workflows using tools such as ETL, CI/CD, DBT and Airflow.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality data solutions for clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and challenge the status quo.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a data engineer with a strong focus on Snowflake.
• Hands‑on coding ability and a progressive, problem‑solving mindset.
• Willingness to work on‑site when required and adapt to client needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team.
