Site Manager - Special Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead small‑scale special projects across Auckland and the northern region. You will act as the project lead on various opportunities and support larger projects, ensuring safety, quality and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and deliver small special‑project sites, overseeing all phases from mobilisation to handover.
• Lead project teams on larger scale initiatives, coordinating with stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Ensure work is carried out safely, on schedule, to quality standards and within budget.
• Monitor and maximise project margins while upholding the company’s reputation.
• Enforce health and safety policies and compliance with relevant legislation.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of site management experience, preferably with a main contractor.
• Proven track record of delivering projects on programme and to high standards.
• Strong understanding of construction legislation and industry compliance.
• Excellent planning, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Relevant trade or tertiary qualification is advantageous but not essential.
