Site Engineer – Zone 2 (Auckland)

About the role

Provide site engineering expertise to the Eastern Busway Alliance (EBA) project in Pakuranga, Auckland, supporting the project’s business objectives and driving excellence in delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Draw up and review public works, industrial and building projects for internal or external clients.
• Prepare tender documentation and develop construction drawings during the execution phase.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with construction methods and productivity standards.
• Support project execution, monitor progress and contribute to achieving key result areas.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of construction and engineering experience, preferably on major projects.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities to work with a diverse mix of people.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
• New Zealand resident/citizen or holder of appropriate work rights.

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of construction methods and productivities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
