Site Construction Manager

About the role

INTEC Energy Solutions is launching a landmark large‑scale solar farm north of Auckland. The company seeks an experienced Site Construction Manager to lead on‑site delivery from mobilisation through construction completion and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all site construction activities across civil, mechanical, electrical and HV/MV scopes, ensuring safety, efficiency and compliance with project requirements.
• Own site mobilisation, construction planning, programme delivery and coordination of subcontractors and internal teams to meet key milestones.
• Drive a strong HSEQ and quality culture, adhering to New Zealand standards, legislation and INTEC project guidelines.
• Manage interfaces between disciplines, subcontractors, clients and stakeholders throughout construction, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Monitor progress, cost, risk and performance, providing leadership, reporting and solutions to support successful delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale construction projects in renewable energy, infrastructure or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary delivery, including civil, mechanical, electrical and HV/MV works.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, site teams, programmes, budgets and outcomes in complex environments.
