Site & Community Engagement Coordinator

About the role

Meridian is looking for a passionate Site & Community Engagement Coordinator to be the local presence across its North Island renewable energy generation assets. You will act as the trusted on‑ground link between assets, communities and stakeholders, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and engagement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support asset visits, stakeholder engagement activities and community events.
• Assist programmes such as Power Up and other local initiatives.
• Work closely with the Iwi & Community Relationships Manager and the Land & Farming Relationships Manager.
• Travel to various North Island locations and occasionally work after hours.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and uphold Meridian’s commitment to sustainability, safety and clean energy.

Required profile

• Highly organised, approachable and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural competency (or willingness to develop it).
• Confidence in using office productivity systems.
