Site & Community Engagement Coordinator

About the role
Meridian is looking for a dynamic Site & Community Engagement Coordinator to be the trusted on‑the‑ground link between its North Island renewable energy assets, local communities and key stakeholders. You will help ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, support community events and promote Meridian’s sustainability mission across a variety of locations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and support asset visits, stakeholder engagement activities and community events.
- Work closely with the Iwi & Community Relationships Manager and the Land & Farming Relationships Manager.
- Facilitate programmes such as Power Up and other local initiatives.
- Travel to mid‑to‑upper North Island sites and occasionally work after hours to meet project needs.
Required profile
- Highly organised and approachable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Cultural competency or a genuine willingness to develop it.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365.
