Shipping Analyst

About the role

The Shipping Analyst will join Asmuss to provide freight insights, drive cost savings and champion operational excellence across our end‑to‑end freight network. You will work closely with logistics, transport and finance teams to analyse performance and recommend improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse freight data to identify trends, cost drivers and opportunities for optimisation.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with operations teams to implement process improvements and monitor results.
• Provide actionable recommendations to reduce freight spend while maintaining service levels.
• Support the preparation of short‑term incentive (STI) calculations linked to performance metrics.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on logistics and transport data.
• Excellent communication skills to convey insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
