Service Desk Specialist / Help Desk

About the role

We are looking for a Service Desk Specialist to provide first‑line technical support within the telecom sector in New Zealand. The role involves handling voice calls and resolving issues related to basic networking, Windows and Office 365. The position follows a work‑from‑office model with the possibility of one day remote work per week after customer consent. Candidates will be required to complete a background check after onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and manage incoming voice calls from users, ensuring timely resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic networking problems.
• Provide support for Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications, including remote assistance.
• Document incidents and follow established service desk procedures.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Service Desk or Help Desk environment.
• Comfortable handling customer calls and delivering clear communication.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Familiarity with the telecom industry is a plus.
