Service Consultant

About the role

As a Service Consultant at ANZ in Auckland, you will be the first point of contact for customers, delivering high‑quality interactions that meet their financial transaction needs. The role combines cash handling, transaction processing and proactive identification of additional service opportunities, all within a flexible, casual work schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, accurate service to customers, adhering to ANZ’s service standards.
• Process a variety of banking transactions efficiently while using tools such as NBC to understand customer needs.
• Maintain cash management duties, including cash deliveries, repatriation and ensuring appropriate cash levels at the teller counter.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve branch goals and refer customers to the appropriate sales channels when required.
• Ensure compliance with all ANZ and branch policies, including cash handling and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with a service‑oriented mindset.
• Good relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of compliance and sales processes.
• Ability to work flexibly according to business needs.
• Computer literacy for using internal banking systems.
