Senior Systems Specialist – Portfolio & Project Management Tools

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Specialist to join the Strategy & Planning team. You will be responsible for delivering, optimising and governing portfolio and project‑management tools across the business, ensuring they meet operational and cyber‑security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical assessments of new applications and integrations, providing recommendations aligned to enterprise standards.
• Contribute to solution design, testing and change‑management activities.
• Own the ongoing operation, performance monitoring and continuous improvement of supported systems.
• Provide technical oversight of cloud update cycles to minimise disruption.
• Produce and peer‑review high‑quality technical documentation.
• Design, build and support integrations across relevant platforms.
• Collaborate with ICT peers and business stakeholders to drive alignment and improve ways of working.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience implementing or supporting commercial off‑the‑shelf (COTS) solutions.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Strong understanding of system development lifecycles (SDLC) and risk‑management frameworks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Power BI – report development and integrations.
• Planview suite (Portfolios, AgilePlace, ProjectPlace) – preferred.
• Cloud platform configuration, testing and integration.
• System configuration, performance monitoring and governance.
