Senior System Engineer

About the role

VEMO IT Solutions Limited is looking for a Senior System Engineer to join its Auckland office. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on designing, implementing and managing IT systems that meet the specific needs of small‑ to medium‑size business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable IT solutions.
• Perform systems engineering, troubleshooting and advanced technical support.
• Administer and optimise system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure system optimisation and reliability.
• Contribute to the creation of tailored IT solutions for clients.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in systems engineering and systems design.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support processes.
• Experience in system administration with a focus on performance and reliability.
• Ability to design, develop and implement scalable IT systems.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Cisco, VMware) are a plus.
