Senior Solicitor

About the role

Russell McVeagh is seeking a solicitor to join its market‑leading Construction and Projects team. Working directly with partner Anna Crosbie, you will be part of a multi‑disciplinary infrastructure group delivering projects of national significance across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to critical infrastructure providers, developers and financiers.
• Support a range of sectors including renewable energy, water, transport, social infrastructure, commercial development and industrial automation.
• Collaborate across practice groups to deliver complex construction and project matters.

Required profile

• Legal qualification with 3‑5 years of experience in construction and projects.
• Strong academic record.
• Keen interest in the infrastructure and construction sectors.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build connections and work collaboratively.
