Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will be a technical leader within a cross‑functional squad, balancing hands‑on development with shaping solution design, architecture and evolution. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, Architecture and business teams to turn ideas into scalable, reliable software that underpins Contact’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical design and make key engineering decisions.
• Elevate the .NET practice through best‑practice guidance, mentoring and establishing scalable standards.
• Build robust, scalable backend services and APIs using Microsoft .NET and C#.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver fit‑for‑purpose solutions.
• Influence integration patterns and overall architecture direction.
• Coach and mentor other engineers, raising team capability.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and shared ownership.

Required profile

• Strong experience in system design and architecture, especially for distributed or cloud‑based systems.
• Proven ability to discuss scalability, performance and reliability trade‑offs.
• Full‑stack development background with a focus on the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Growth mindset, curiosity and a collaborative attitude.
