Senior SAP Technical Specialist

About the role

Powerco is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Technical Specialist to support, maintain and continuously improve its SAP landscape as it transitions from SAP S/4HANA 2020 to SAP S/4HANA 2025. The role combines operational support, technical optimisation, security, integrations and major change initiatives within a modern SAP RISE environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for Powerco’s SAP environment, ensuring stability, security and high performance.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents, manage user access, authorisations and security‑related issues.
• Support releases, upgrades, system refreshes and technical change activities across development, testing and production.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, security specialists, integration teams, vendors and SAP RISE service providers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, performance analysis, transport management and disaster‑recovery readiness.

Required profile

• Extensive SAP application support experience in a business‑critical environment.
• Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to balance operational support with project delivery.
