Senior SAP P2P Consultant / Manager

About the role

Deloitte is looking for an experienced SAP P2P Senior Consultant or Manager to join its New Zealand team, preferably in Wellington. You will lead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP procurement solutions for asset‑intensive and manufacturing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, prepare documentation, design end‑to‑end solutions and create functional specifications.
• Collaborate with business SMEs, architects, developers and vendor consultants to review processes and propose enhancements.
• Configure complex SAP P2P settings, produce related documentation and manage full‑cycle configuration.
• Translate functional specs into application design, coordinate development, create test plans, and execute unit and integration testing.
• Lead testing cycles, perform root‑cause analysis and resolve issues.
• Utilise SAP Solution Manager and SAP Cloud ALM for project monitoring.
• Guide the development of WRICEF objects with the technical team.
• Apply SAP Activate methodology and contribute to Deloitte’s proprietary tools and best‑practice methods.
• Support RFP responses, presales discussions and system demonstrations.

Required profile

• 12–16 years of overall SAP experience, with at least 8 years focused on SAP Procurement (P2P).
• Background in asset‑intensive or manufacturing environments.
• Proven ability to lead functional design, configuration and delivery of SAP solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive learning attitude.
