Senior Sales Consultant

About the role

SaferCities is looking for a Senior Sales Consultant to lead consultative software sales that help police forces, local councils and businesses create safer communities across New Zealand and Australia. You will work directly with the CEO and senior leadership, representing a proven software platform with growing market demand.

Key responsibilities

• Drive high‑trust, consultative sales cycles for public‑safety software solutions.
• Identify and engage decision‑makers in police departments, councils and enterprise customers.
• Develop and present tailored proposals that address safety challenges and ROI.
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team to shape strategy and product positioning.
• Maintain a robust sales pipeline and achieve quarterly revenue targets.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in senior‑level software or technology sales, preferably in the public‑sector.
• Strong consultative selling mindset, focused on building long‑term relationships rather than transactional deals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and comfortable working in a fast‑growing environment.
