Senior Project Manager – Technology Projects (Permanent)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead business‑critical technology projects for a large New Zealand enterprise undergoing a broad transformation programme. Based in Christchurch, this permanent role will work closely with senior leaders and delivery teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead delivery of technology‑enabled business projects across multiple streams, from initiation to completion.
• Engage with executive stakeholders to translate business priorities into practical delivery plans.
• Manage project schedules, resources, risks, dependencies and governance activities.
• Provide regular status reporting and risk updates to senior leaders.
• Operate within lean delivery teams, taking a hands‑on approach to both leadership and execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering technology‑enabled business projects.
• Experience with ERP implementations and complex business operations.
• Strong understanding of business processes and ability to work with senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to manage detailed project plans, risks and governance without dedicated coordination support.
• New Zealand working rights and currently residing in Christchurch.

Required skills

• Project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
• ERP systems implementation experience.
