Senior Project Manager

About the role

TBIG is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of Three Waters and infrastructure resilience projects across the Canterbury region. Based in Christchurch, you will work on treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs and associated networks, contributing to sustainable water infrastructure for the community.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies through to delivery and handover.
• Provide strategic oversight while staying involved in day‑to‑day tasks such as issuing change instructions, leading meetings and preparing clear client reports.
• Coordinate with diverse stakeholders, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Lead a local high‑performing team and collaborate with a national business backing.

Required profile

• Approximately 8+ years of post‑graduate experience in civil engineering, project delivery or construction management.
• Background that includes consultancy or client‑side project management roles.
• Proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects in multi‑stakeholder environments.
