Senior Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Health Nurse to work from our Byron Street clinic in Christchurch. You will provide high‑quality occupational health assessments, support client wellbeing, and travel across the region to deliver specialised services such as social rehabilitation, concussion, and vocational rehab.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical occupational health assessments and deliver clear feedback to clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely reporting.
• Manage equipment, scheduling, and patient‑management systems efficiently.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Promote Habit Health’s services and identify opportunities to support new and existing customers.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in occupational health nursing.
• Excellent communication, organisation and time‑management abilities.
• Professional, proactive and solution‑focused approach.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation (Privacy, Health & Safety, health information).
• Valid NZ driver’s licence.
