Senior Naval Architect – Marine Engineering Consultancy

About the role

Join a leading marine engineering consultancy delivering naval architecture solutions across newbuilding, repair and conversion projects. As a Senior Naval Architect you will drive design concepts through to compliant, practical solutions while collaborating with clients, multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of ship structures and systems, ensuring compliance with marine standards.
• Produce detailed CAD and 3D models and technical documentation.
• Manage project delivery, quality control and schedule adherence.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide technical guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development.

Required profile

• Degree in Naval Architecture or a related discipline.
• Professional registration or membership (e.g., RINA).
• Minimum 3 years of naval architecture experience.
• Proven ability to translate concepts into robust engineering solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
