Senior Manager | Tax

About the role

Grant Thornton New Zealand's Tax team is growing and is looking for a Senior Tax Manager for its Auckland CBD office. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services and guiding them through tax legislation, while playing a key leadership role in the Tax practice and helping to grow the business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to support the delivery of exceptional client service
• Identify opportunities with current and new clients to continue the firm's growth
• Act as a trusted advisor, delivering tax advisory and compliance services and supporting clients' commercial objectives
• Lead within the Tax practice, foster collaboration, share technical expertise and support colleagues' development
• Contribute to business development by deepening client relationships and enhancing the service offering

Required profile

• 8 years or more of substantial experience advising on New Zealand income tax, GST and Inland Revenue requirements
• CA or CPA qualification, or equivalent, and/or Law Professor
• Enjoys teamwork and inspires others to be their best
• Thrives on identifying and creating new business opportunities
