Senior Manager, Pricing Operations

About the role

Westpac is seeking an experienced leader to head its Pricing Desk in Auckland. Reporting to the Head of Pricing, you will oversee a team of analysts delivering product and pricing support while strengthening governance and risk frameworks across the bank.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Pricing Desk team, driving performance and capability uplift.
• Manage pricing escalations, ensuring balanced, transparent decision‑making.
• Continuously improve pricing governance, risk management and control frameworks.
• Build strong relationships with product, distribution and customer‑facing teams.
• Contribute to pricing strategy and translate it into effective execution.

Required profile

• Confident people leader with proven ability to motivate and coach teams.
• Significant banking experience, preferably with exposure to product, pricing or frontline operations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Good commercial judgement and understanding of risk and governance.
