Senior Machine Learning Engineer (AI Data Trainer)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help shape the reasoning abilities of large language models. In this fully remote, flexible contract position, you will create high‑fidelity reasoning traces that become core training data for next‑generation AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Author complex, step‑by‑step reasoning traces for sophisticated ML and technical tasks.
• Design and document problem‑solving strategies that teach LLMs to navigate real‑world scenarios.
• Review and quality‑check traces to ensure logical clarity, depth, and usefulness.
• Apply senior‑level architectural insight to improve model reasoning robustness.
• Contribute to data strategies targeting edge cases in model decision‑making.

Required profile

• Deep experience in machine learning, AI research, or a closely related technical field with a focus on model reasoning.
• Proven ability to decompose complex, ambiguous problems into clear, logical steps.
• Experience with LLM evaluation, fine‑tuning, or training methodologies.
• Comfortable working at both architectural and implementation levels.
• Rigorous attention to correctness, precision, and documentation quality.
• Self‑directed and able to work independently in an asynchronous environment.
