Senior Landscape Architect

About the role

Jasmax is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect to join its Auckland studio and help shape meaningful, enduring places across New Zealand and Australia. Working closely with the Landscape Principal, you will provide design leadership, drive project delivery and build strong client relationships while contributing to the growth of the Landscape practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the landscape design team, fostering capability and confidence.
• Oversee projects from concept through construction, ensuring design quality and timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain client and market relationships, representing Jasmax in presentations, workshops and industry events.
• Contribute to bids, submissions and strategic proposals to expand the national pipeline of landscape work.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across public realm, infrastructure, education, civic and regeneration sectors.

Required profile

• Registered Senior Landscape Architect with a strong portfolio covering concept to construction.
• Excellent design judgement, commercial awareness and project delivery leadership.
• Collaborative leadership style that mentors and critiques team members.
• Commitment to design excellence, sustainability and practice development.
• Ability to build trusted partnerships with clients, consultants and industry stakeholders.
