Senior IT Project Manager (ADP Implementation)

About the role

Rocket Lab is looking for a dynamic Senior IT Project Manager to lead a high‑impact, 12‑month fixed‑term ADP implementation across its Auckland operations. You will drive end‑to‑end delivery of the strategic ADP program and other enterprise initiatives, working closely with cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop project charters, timelines, resource plans, and risk assessments.
• Deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to execute plans and achieve objectives.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate internal resources and manage external vendors.
• Maintain stakeholder alignment and executive communication.
• Manage scope changes using verification techniques and change control.
• Track performance using Smartsheet, MS Project, Confluence, and JIRA.
• Report status regularly and escalate issues appropriately.
• Drive risk management and maintain RAID logs.

Required profile

• 8+ years of proven project management experience, including large‑scale enterprise system implementations.
• Demonstrated experience leading ADP implementations or rollouts.
• Strong ability to influence and energize stakeholders.
