About the role
MetService is looking for a Senior iOS Developer to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of its native iOS applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, engineers, testers, and delivery leads to deliver high‑quality, resilient mobile experiences for New Zealanders.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain native iOS applications using Swift and modern iOS frameworks.
- Collaborate with product, UX, backend, QA, and delivery teams to release secure, accessible, high‑performing features.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture input, code reviews, mentoring, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
Required profile
- Deep experience building native iOS applications with a strong focus on clean, maintainable code.
- Proven ability to mentor others, communicate collaboratively, and deliver reliable, accessible customer experiences.
Required skills
- Swift programming language.
- Modern iOS frameworks (e.g., UIKit, SwiftUI).
- API integration and app architecture patterns.
- Performance optimisation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
