Senior Infrastructure Architect

About the role

LTM is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Architect to lead large‑scale Azure migration programmes for enterprise and government clients in New Zealand. The role involves end‑to‑end delivery, from on‑premise assessment to Azure landing zone design and workload migration, acting as the Azure subject‑matter expert across high‑impact transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex on‑premise to Azure migrations using Azure Migrate and native tooling.
• Design and implement Azure Landing Zones aligned with Microsoft best practices.
• Architect target environments covering networking, identity, security, storage and compute.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level architecture designs and migration roadmaps.
• Provide Azure solution architecture, Bill of Materials guidance and licensing recommendations.
• Govern and mentor delivery teams of 5+ resources, ensuring technical quality.
• Troubleshoot performance, networking, storage and compute issues in Azure and Windows environments.

Required profile

• New Zealand citizenship with appropriate security clearance for government work.
• Extensive experience delivering Azure infrastructure migrations for regulated sectors such as banking, healthcare or insurance.
• Relevant certifications preferred (AZ‑305, AZ‑104).
