Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – Security Research

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join its security research team in New Zealand. You will work on cutting‑edge cyber‑security solutions, designing and delivering secure, scalable applications that support mission‑critical defense technology.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
• Collaborate with globally distributed Agile teams, product managers and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software.
• Design, develop, and maintain server‑side solutions and user interfaces using C#/.NET and Python.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues across the full technology stack.
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and system tests to ensure code reliability.
• Document technical solutions and create end‑user manuals as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a full‑stack engineer, preferably in a security‑focused environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities within cross‑functional, distributed teams.
