Senior Full-Stack Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join Hectre, the global leader in Fruit Quality AI. In this role you will work hands-on across backend services, web applications and mobile experiences, collaborating closely with product and design to turn ambiguous ideas into clear technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product and design to shape feature direction and ensure the right solutions are built.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and TypeScript on AWS.
• Implement features for web applications built with Vue or React.
• Contribute to mobile applications using Flutter and, when needed, native Swift or Kotlin code.
• Design and implement APIs, event-driven architectures and serverless solutions.
• Work with machine-learning engineers to integrate AI capabilities into production systems.
• Leverage AI-powered development tools in daily workflow and promote engineering best practices.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS and CDK.
• Proven ability to work across the full stack, including web (Vue/React) and mobile (Flutter, Swift, Kotlin).
• Comfortable collaborating with product and design teams to translate vision into technical direction.
• Experience thriving in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities.
• Daily use of AI development tools and curiosity to push their capabilities further.
