Senior Full Stack Developer – React/Angular & Spring Boot

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test and maintain scalable enterprise web applications. The role focuses on both front‑end (React/Angular) and back‑end (Java, Spring Boot) development within an agile environment in Auckland.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain end‑to‑end web applications.
• Build responsive, accessible, user‑friendly front‑end interfaces using React and/or Angular.
• Develop secure, scalable back‑end services and APIs with Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and optimise database models, queries and data‑access patterns.
• Integrate internal and third‑party systems via REST APIs and secure authentication mechanisms.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Designers, QA, DevOps and Security teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement and other Agile ceremonies.
• Contribute to solution design, code reviews, debugging, performance tuning and production issue resolution.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and API tests to ensure reliable software delivery.
• Create and maintain technical documentation such as API specifications, design documents and deployment notes.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack software development experience.
• Hands‑on experience building enterprise web applications with React and/or Angular.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for back‑end service and API development.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design, JSON, authentication, authorisation and API security.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Oracle).
