Senior Full Stack Developer

About the role

LAB3 is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to own end‑to‑end software delivery for internal platforms and AI‑powered client applications. You will work across the full technology stack, from front‑end React/TypeScript interfaces to back‑end Python services, data models and Azure cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain clean React/TypeScript user interfaces and robust Python APIs.
• Build and operate data models in PostgreSQL and manage deployments on Azure App Services, Functions and Storage.
• Integrate large language models, retrieval‑augmented generation and AI agents into products, using tools such as Claude Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Collaborate with consultants, architects and clients to translate business outcomes into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, monitoring, observability and operational ownership of shipped features.
• Mentor junior developers and uphold high engineering standards through code reviews and testing.

Required profile

• 5+ years of full‑stack development experience with strong front‑end and back‑end expertise.
• Hands‑on experience with React, TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL.
• Proven ability to design, ship and operate cloud‑native applications on Azure.
• Current use of AI development tools and experience delivering LLM‑enabled features.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work directly with non‑technical stakeholders.
• Legal right to work in Australia or New Zealand.
