Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the finance team of Southern Cross Travel Insurance in Auckland. In this role you will turn data into actionable insight, support strategic decision‑making and develop your expertise towards a Finance Business Partnering career.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial data and produce reports that influence business strategy.
• Support planning, forecasting and budgeting processes across the organisation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify performance trends and recommend improvements.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial information and ensure compliance with reporting standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial analysis, reporting or related finance functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
