Senior Finance Partner – Product Development

About the role

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a senior finance partner to embed finance at the heart of product development and innovation. Reporting to the EVP of Product Development and with a dotted line to the CFO, you will work closely with engineers, product managers and global finance teams to drive financially‑grounded decisions across the product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product development leaders to evaluate new product investments, ROI and profitability.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting and capital‑expenditure management for the product portfolio.
• Develop and maintain financial models that support strategic direction and long‑term growth.
• Continuously improve reporting tools, frameworks and financial processes to enhance visibility and accountability.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture aligned with company values.

Required profile

• Commercially astute finance leader with strong technical capability.
• Proven ability to operate strategically in an innovation‑focused environment.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to partner with cross‑functional leaders.
• Experience coaching and developing finance professionals.
