Senior EPM Consultant – Planning Transformation

About the role

We are partnering with a specialist consulting firm that helps finance teams transform their planning, forecasting and reporting processes. As a Senior EPM Consultant you will work closely with FP&A and business stakeholders to design and implement practical planning solutions across a variety of client environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of planning solutions for budgeting, forecasting, P&L, workforce, cost‑centre and management reporting.
• Gather requirements from finance and business partners and translate them into effective planning models and processes.
• Build, configure and enhance planning models on platforms such as Adaptive Planning, Vena, Anaplan or Pigment.
• Support finance transformation initiatives by improving planning processes, reporting outputs, data flows and usability.
• Create dashboards, reports, templates and planning views that enable day‑to‑day finance decision‑making.
• Advise clients on best‑practice model design, governance, process improvement and solution adoption.
• Manage workstreams, mentor junior consultants and ensure successful delivery from design through implementation.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience delivering planning solutions with Adaptive Planning, Vena Solutions, Anaplan and/or Pigment.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as budgeting, forecasting, planning, reporting and FP&A.
• Experience in consulting, finance transformation or systems implementation with client‑facing delivery.
• Ability to gather requirements, challenge assumptions and translate finance needs into structured planning solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence to work directly with senior finance stakeholders.
• Experience leading or supporting project workstreams including design, build, testing, training and go‑live.
