About the role

Lane Neave is seeking a senior solicitor/associate to join its nationally‑ranked Employment practice in Auckland CBD. This newly created, intermediate‑level position offers the chance to advise both businesses and employees across a broad range of sectors, while benefiting from strong mentorship and a supportive firm culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality legal advice on employment relations, health & safety, human rights, and privacy law matters.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and tribunal proceedings.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and procedural documents.
• Stay current with legislative changes and emerging trends in employment law.
• Collaborate with senior partners to develop business development initiatives.
