Senior Editorial Associate – Live Events

About the role

Axios Live is looking for a Senior Editorial Associate to shape and deliver live‑event journalism. Reporting to the Editorial Director, you will bridge editorial, audience development, and event execution, turning conversations into compelling content before, during, and after each event.

Key responsibilities

• Identify quotes, cut clips, and live‑tweet events in real time with rapid turnaround.
• Write post‑event recap articles in Axios’ Smart Brevity style.
• Draft and edit YouTube video titles and descriptions using AI‑assisted tools.
• Create LinkedIn recap posts and attendee‑facing emails (KBYG, thank‑you, reminders).
• Coordinate with newsroom, social, and communications teams to surface newsworthy moments.
• Lead roundtable guest‑invite strategy, maintain executive‑level attendee lists, and manage invitation workflows.
• Support concept development for future events and ensure all content meets editorial standards.
