Senior Directory Services Engineer

About the role

The Senior Directory Services Engineer will join ANZ's identity infrastructure team, supporting the production Windows environment and ensuring high availability of critical services. You will work on modern authentication platforms and help evolve the infrastructure with new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support modern authentication providers such as Ping and EntraID.
• Maintain a diverse Windows Server fleet across physical, on‑premises and cloud platforms.
• Support Active Directory, Azure AD, System Center (SCOM, SCCM, SCORCH) and related Microsoft services.
• Manage additional identity components including PKI and ADFS.
• Deliver incident resolution within defined SLA timelines while minimizing business impact.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience with modern authentication protocols (OIDC, SAML).
• Strong background in Windows Server administration (2012‑2025) and related Microsoft technologies.
• Ability to work independently, self‑train on emerging tools, and contribute to continuous improvement.
