Senior Development Chemist – Animal Health Pharma

About the role

Argenta, a global researcher and manufacturer of animal health pharmaceuticals, is seeking a Senior Development Chemist to join its laboratory team in Manurewa East, Auckland. This full‑time permanent position is on‑site and includes dedicated parking. The role focuses on analytical method development, validation and solving complex technical challenges within the pharmaceutical development process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and optimise analytical methods for pharmaceutical products.
• Validate analytical procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges arising during method development and validation.

Required profile

• Experienced pharmaceutical scientist with a strong background in analytical chemistry.
• A passion for analytical method development, validation and solving complex technical challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on method development projects.
