Senior Detailer – Frame & Truss

About the role

Carters is seeking an experienced Senior Detailer to join our Auckland CBD team. You will be responsible for producing precise wall‑frame and roof‑truss drawings that feed directly into our manufacturing process, supporting both residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Generate detailed CAD drawings of wall frames and roof trusses for manufacturing.
• Ensure designs are efficient, meet productivity targets, and comply with industry standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and production staff to maintain high quality and timely delivery.
• Manage a variety of residential and commercial detailing projects, adapting to project-specific requirements.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in architectural drafting or detailing of frames and trusses.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to build positive working relationships.
• Attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and productivity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MiTek 20/20 or Sapphire software.
