Senior Data Technical Manager, Pacific Customer Resolution

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Data Technical Manager to lead the Customer Resolution data services for its Pacific business. You will combine people leadership, technical expertise, and strategic influence to deliver remediation initiatives that improve outcomes for customers and the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for Customer Resolution data services across the Pacific region.
• Lead a team of data professionals to design, build and maintain sustainable, scalable data capabilities.
• Oversee delivery of complex data solutions for remediation events, including customer identification, impact assessment, calculations, testing and implementation.
• Ensure governance, risk and compliance requirements are met for all data initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Customer Resolution, Risk, Technology, Operations and Pacific business teams to define future‑state operating models.
• Drive continuous improvement of data frameworks, automation and technical practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading data teams in a large, regulated financial services environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior business partners.
• Demonstrated track record delivering large‑scale data remediation or transformation programmes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
