Senior Cost Manager – Power Infrastructure (Hybrid)

About the role

The Resolute Group is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join a client‑side consultancy delivering major electricity transmission and grid reinforcement programmes across the UK. Working on high‑value infrastructure packages, you will help shape the commercial success of long‑term, regulated power projects.

Key responsibilities

• Produce cost reports, forecasts and manage budgets for large infrastructure packages.
• Administer New Engineering Contract (NEC) Option E agreements, including change control and compensation events.
• Review contractor submissions, valuations and commercial reports.
• Support programme‑level commercial assurance, risk and value governance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders across client, consultancy and contractor teams to maintain commercial control.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Manager in construction, utilities or heavy civil projects.
• Strong exposure to NEC contracts (NEC3 or NEC4) and client‑facing programme environments.
• Demonstrated ability in cost reporting, forecasting, budgeting and change control.
• Excellent stakeholder management and commercial governance skills.
